odd behavior while charging

Hopefully I can explain this so it makes sense.  I use my phone as an alarm clock next to my bed and I keep it in the open position.  I use the desk clock charging screen as well.  It seems during the night the phone will have randomly opened different menus.  One night it was the contacts and last night it was in the browse and download screen.  The only thing I can possibly time it with is when the phone has completed charging and the message that it is done pops up.  That is the only time that I notice the "freak out".  I have also had a couple of occasions when out and about with the screen locked and different things being accessed on the phone.  I know it's possible in this case that the lock button got double pressed or something but the night time charging with it not moving or having the touch screen available is strange.  Just wondering if anyone else is noticing anything strange like this.
