I upgraded to V.05 2 nights ago.  I checked out the phone and changes that night but didn't text anyone.

Yesterday I was texting from the internal keyboard and the phone would completely lock up.  I had to pull the battery to reboot the phone.  I have never had any problems with my phone before the upgrade.  Has anyone else had this problem?

The only other thing I did was *228 option 1.  I am not sure if the upgrade or the update has caused the glitch but it has happened 4 separate times now.  All requiring a battery pull to reset it.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Try further upgrading, V07 is out and about in the wild.

I think this forum is lucky.   Tongue

Ever since I posted I haven't had any issues.  Here's to hoping my phone remains glitch free.

I have had the same problem since upgrading to v05.  is it not a good idea to use these firmware updates until verizon has posted them?

If you use the Verizon Store of the LG Update, you should feel safe enough that you're getting the real deal as far as the software goes.  Now, doing it at home adds the possibility of a glitch due to your own computer hicupping, but that too could happen with the updater hardware at the store.

I know some people have had their computers freeze up, or take a while.  So it's a gamble.
