I literally JUST got my enV touch on friday and while I was in the store after I had activated it, I was texting and then all of a sudden when I would send a text, it would say "Send Failed. Would you like to retry?" and no matter how many times I pushed yes, it would still give me that same message. It did start working normally after a while though. Yesterday, I had the SAME problem with my phone and it didnt work for basically the whole night. I couldnt even RECEIVE anyone elses texts and of course it wouldn't let me send any either. When I woke up this morning and I sent a text, it said "message sent" so now it's working again. I have no idea what I should do, this should NOT be happening at all.

It's the roaming capabilities for your phone.  By *228 Option #2 you allow your phone to use the most recent tower list.  It also helps with battery life, since your phone spends less time roaming for the best signal if you're in an area with spotty coverage.

Try pulling your battery out while the phone is powered on next time it happens. It could be a simple glitch that is causing problems with your phone's signal strength. Always try a battery pull first for any kind of software problems on a cell phone.
