I admit it's amateurish and rather rambly Wink but I tried my hand at making a video review of the enV Touch a few days ago. x-posted at HowardForums. It's on veoh because my camera was on Macro mode and made the file too large to upload to YouTube. Enjoy!

Wow, a 13 minute review.  That shows some dedication.  Thanks for that extra effort.  The only other videos I had seen of it so far were somewhat blurry and less detailed.  Well done.  Cookie for you.

Wow nice video, looks like once we break the coding there is allot of customization we can do with this. How is the chrome that goes down the edges of the phone. Does it look like it will chip as much as previous models. And i saw something about having pics of the contacts next to there  number while you scroll through the contacts section. Is that true or did i read wrong somewhere there is still allot of speculation about this phone right now.

Yes you can add contact ID that will show up both when you make a call to each person and when you send and receive text messages when the text message settings are set to the threaded messaging format (where your messages are grouped by contact and not by time received)

Have you tried out the document viewer function yet?  I think the threaded text messaging, the doc viewer and the larger picture id's are the three biggest draws to this phone, for me.

I haven't yet had a chance to check out the document viewing function, but here are a couple of other videos I snagged from Michigan_Mobile, another frequenter of HoFo. He touches on the document viewer in one of the videos...

Overall, I am a big fan of this phone. More specifically, I love the responsive touch screen and the slim design of the phone. The Voyager's screen was hard for me to get used to as well as how big it was, so I returned it a few days and exchanged it for the enV2.

I like how they incorporated a contacts button on the internal.  That looks like it will come in very handy.  Wish the Voyager would have had that. Cry

The orignal Voyager impressed many as well as pulling some to Verizon.  Looks like the 2nd round will be even better!  Cant wait!

I am extremely happy to see in that last video that they fixed the video playback to include the full screen as opposed to the limited 320X240 that they stuck us with on the Voyager.

I'm still going to have to see better examples of the document viewer in action since that video wasn't really in focus enough to give me any idea about the quality or ease of reading a document on the phone but the concept still seems nice.  We are definitely getting closer to getting non-smartphones that have the smartphone capabilities many people would use without the overkill of the features only heavy business users would need.

Thanks for linking those videos duckrodeo.  That gets you another cookie.

This vid answered a lot of my questions!  Thanks much, I guess the only one that I still have is if it allows you to have ringtone ID's for text messages.  I know the Env3 has the new software for that and was thinking that the ET would too but I was just curious if anyone knew or not.
