Anything you figure out that can make the enV Touch more fun or user friendly, feel free to share it with the community.

So BitPim will work for the Touch?  I thought the version I have now didn't have any setting for the touch, or at least none that I seen.  Or has BitPim released a newer version that has the touch on it?

It's unknown if bitpim will work with the Touch at it's release but I have no doubt that it will work eventually.  We'll just have to see once more experienced users get their hands on the phone and get a chance to test out the functionality.  It could work with another phone's settings in the same manner that Voyager owners had to do when the new firmware was first released and people had to select the Dare's settings.

I haven't tried it myself, but I think you can save your sounds/custom ringtons it to your phone via the USB Mass Storage option, save it to your "My Sounds" file and then set the file as your ringtone.

So you think you can actually directly apply something in the sounds folder as a ringtone?  Or does it still require you to send it to yourself in a picture message and then save it as a ringtone?

I heard on HoFo that both options will work, I do know that the "My Sounds" area on the phone has the 5 standard sounds that come with the phone, and you have the option to set them as your ringtone.

A quick test of that would be to make a quick voice recording and try to set it as a ringtone.

I just tried it and yep, if you record sounds on the phone you can set them as your ringtone.

Well if you have a sd card you can just put all your stuff on your phone through there and not have to worry about BitPim.

Yup, which is a good thing to be able to do. I have a microSD card, but I don't have the housing for it to make it a regular-sized SD card, so I just use the USB Mass Storage option, and it works just fine.

I don't think I understanding what you are saying about not having the housing for it to make it a regular sized sd card.  what do you mean by that?

I bought my MicroSD card a few years ago when I bought my Chocolate 2. At the time it came in two parts - one was the MicroSD card that goes into the phone, and then there's a regular-sized SD card that the Micro one slips into, where you can take the Micro card out of the phone, put it in the regular-sized SD card and then be able to load it into a computer.
