I'm trying to find a way to use custom ringtones as Alarm alert tones.  I have several custom ringtones on my phone but they don't show up as a choice for selecting the tone for an alarm.  If you know how to do this please let me know, thanks.

i have mine set to custom ringtones for alarms. when setting an alarm you should be able to go to edit and pick wat sound you want to play

I also had custom ringtones (on my SD card from my old phone) that I wanted to use as alerts. I found that I was able to send a pic message of ringtone to myself. After opening the message, select options (upper righthand corner), and Set As Ringtone, DONE. Now, when I attempt to set alerts (in Settings & Tools> Sound Settings> Alert Sounds) or set alarm clock alerts (in Settings & Tools> Tools> Alarm Clock> Add> Ringtone), all of my ringtones appear on the list of choices. So, for me, Mission accomplished.

Connect your phone to the computer, go to tools on your phone and usb mas storage and save the tones in "my sounds" not :my ringtones" there you can use them as both sounds and ringtone and you can forward them on to other ppl
