At any rate, a classmate of mine showed me that he could also mean if you start typing on the keyboard, it'll go straight to typing a text message. If set QWERTY shortcuts ON in the menu, then you could be looking at the home screen with the phone flipped open, and all you had to do was hit a letter, and it would automatically start typing a text message. When you were done typing your message, you just hit the up arrow, type in the number and hit SEND. Saves you having to open your messages and click on NEW TXT MSG.
