Sorry i do not know what that does. Is it the thing that allows you to put flash games on your phone like the one program for the Dare does?

Its a program that allows you access to the phone file systems.

It also contains a "desktop manager" of sorts that allows you to sync information between your phone and computer, such as contacts, messages, calender etc.

bitpim is the same program the dare uses for flash games. I don't think that bitpim supports the touch et, but I wouldn't think it wold be too long before it gets updated. has anyone contacted them yet for an eta?

There's not a whole lot to be gained by asking them when the Touch might be supported.  They provide information regarding phone support development in their FAQs section.

Basically, their developers have to get their hands on a Touch before they can even start the process.

FYI

Bitpim works for me if you manually set the phone to Versa. I was able to use the filesytstem and upload some wallpapers. Also I used some old wallpapers from my Voyager 10K and they work fine with no resizing. I just upgraded so I'll keep you guy posted on what else I find. Anyone know of any cool 3rd party widgets yet?

Try to refrain from posting the same thing in more than one place.  It mostly just clutters the website and makes it harder for people to find helpful information.

Thank you.

Sorry I thought this was important and I see the Bitpim sync issue asked in multiple post. Just trying to help spread the word that you don't have to wait for Bitpim programmers.

It wasn't the info on bitpim working that I was referring to.  It was your question about 3rd party apps thrown in at the end.  You had already asked that same question earlier today.
